I have been out of Alberta since 2008 and have just now heard of Brian's passing. I am so sorry to hear the sad news. He truely was a special person. I was introduced to Brian by his friend  Frank and  liked him immediately. Such a big person with an even bigger heart. Gentle and kind. My prayers and thoughts to his family.

I am so deeply saddened at the news of Brian's passing.  He was a gentle giant. I used to tell him he was so much like my brother. I always enjoyed seeing him at work. My thoughts and deepest sympathy go to family and friends. What a tragic loss.

Brian was always such a pleasure to work with, and the Bethany residents
loved him. He taught many of us what it meant to really know each
person in your care, and how to communicate with each one as an individual.
He was a kind, loving and intelligent man, and will be deeply missed.

What a huge loss. Brian will always have a special place in our hearts
as a gentle giant who truly cared about people.  Brian had a gift in
communicating with the residents at Extendicare Leduc to make each
of them feel special. We enjoyed our conversations with Brian each &
every time we saw him. What a gem of a man! Brian - we will miss you &
thank you for everything.
