Barney will be lovingly remembered by his wife Sheila; daughter Lindsay & Kris and grandsons Reed, Karson & Jaxson; daughter Tami & Trent; son Mike & Carla and grandchildren Noah & Maelle; brothers Harold & LaRae, Les & Barb, Danny & Shirley, and Ron & Wanda; sisters Terri & Spencer, Carolyn & Bruce, and Marilyn & Rick; mother-in-law Margaret Langmuir; brother-in-law Roger Engleson; sister-in-law Sharon; very special aunts Liz, Marg, and Goldie; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Frank & Mary; brothers Frank & Donald; and uncles Ken & Hal.
A Celebration of Barney's Life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion (Club Room) in Ponoka from 11:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. (Tribute & Open Mic at 12:00 p.m.) on Saturday, July 23, 2016. Memorial donations are gratefully accepted to the Alberta Cancer Foundation or any charity of your choice.
