Maximo came to Canada on June 20, 2012 to be with his children. He is lovingly remembered by his wife, Hipolita Legaspi; children, Juanita (Rex Elloran), Rufina (Danny Deng), Linda (Rod Madison), Gina (Joel Hisoler), Arlene (Junjun Alday), Maximo Jr. (Mirafor) of the Philippines, Jonathan (Angelin), Linda, Rod and Justin of Georgia USA; grandchildren, Danica, Jure, Jennifer, Jeffry, Jessica, Kaycee, Charles, Jolene, Michael.
A funeral mass will be helf on Friday, November 20, 2015 at 5:00 p.m. at Sacred Heart Church in Wetaskiwin. Burial will take place at a later date at the Quinoguitan Catholic Cemetery in Candabong, Loboc, Philippines
