Bernice is survived by her loving family; husband, Clarence Holmes; son, Phillip Deschamps and daughter, Danette Louis (Kelsey); siblings, Florence Deschamps, Joseph Deschamps (Ellen), Muriel Lee and Lorraine White (Ken); grandchildren, Llorenda (Kendell), Eastin, Chelsea, Kelsey Jr., Gina, Jetta, Maximus, Kali, Jerome, Dash and River as well as numerous extended family members and many friends.
Bernice is predeceased by her first husband, Fred Schwab; parents, Daniel and Martha Deschamps; grandparents, Joseph and Elizabeth Deschamps, Joseph and MarryAnne White; siblings, George and Amy Deschamps, Frederick Deschamps, Brenda Deschamps, Joyce Johnson, Norman Deschamps, Alfred Deschamps, Gerald Deschamps, Stanley Deschamps, Lena Deschamps and Margaret Deschamps.
Funeral Wake: Bernice and Clarence’s residence beginning on Thursday, October 6, 2016.
Traditional Ceremonies: Bernice and Clarence’s residence on Saturday, October 8, 2016 at 10:00 a.m.
Interment: Louis Bull Cemetery
