Henry, Lori, Jan, Bonnie and families,
So sorry to hear of the loss of your Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother.
My 94 year old Mother, Irma Fleming ask if I would post a condolence to your family. It was my mother that notified me of Lois's passing and we spent a while on the phone reminiscing on life in the Hillside Community. We talked about the 4-H Hillside Beef Club and the constructing of a float at the Venoasen farm for the North AM Parade in Wetaskiwin (us kids had made a winter scene with a Steer on Skis, the steer was made of Paper Mashe painted reddish brown, I guess we made it a Red Poll and from the crowd people were yelling, "Is that suppose to be a bear? ", I guess we should have made it a Hereford)!! We also talked about one of the highlights of the 4-H Hillside Beef Club Christmas Party held at the Hillside Community Hall, when after returning from a very cold Hayride from Karl Alleman with his team of horse's to Lois coming in with a stack of hot mini pizza's for us kids. Louise and I have many happy memories of going on cattle drives or just ridding over to the Venoasen Farm to go ridding with the girls which on many occasions Henry and Lois would ask us to stay for a meal and we were always made to feel like one of the family. Such a kind, generous and lovely person! May knowing that other people are thinking of you, sending their sympathy and positive thoughts will help you get through this very difficult time.
Our sincerest condolences,
The Fleming Family (posted by Ida (Fleming) Mattson)

Oh my gosh. Thank you so much for these stories. I remember them well. I can not tell you how many times we have talked about about you girls and the fun times we had at 4H. This just meant the world to me, and brought a smile to my face. I thank you again, and I would sure love to catch up with you girls someday. All the best to your whole family. Any time you are in Leduc, and have the time to catch up, my door is open. Again.thank you. 780-980-3440

Dear Henry,
We are so sorry for your loss. You have our deepest sympathy and are in our thoughts and prayers.
As your former neighbours, we thought to share a few memories of how Lois touched our lives, from the tasteful decoration of our home to the welcome vase of flowers when we moved in. We also remember the generous and gracious gifts Lois brought us to celebrate the births our our two daughters. And we fondly recall the social gatherings over the years we were neighbours where you both ensured we felt welcome and cared for as friends.
May you and you family's hearts be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate Lois' life well lived.
With our deepest and heartfelt condolences.

Dear Henry and family
On behalf of the Sons of Norway, Normanna Lodge our sincere condolences in the loss of Lois. We will miss her dearly as she was always willing to help. She was also a great hostess and a terrific cook, you never left Hungary from their place even if it was a pot luck as she made sure she had extra. R.I.P.
