I met Hank in the earlly 90's through our work at Sears in Red Deer. We became good friends and spent time together while Hank found a horse "Emma" for our girls. Hank and Pat were always welcoming when we came to their place. Hank was so wonderful and patient with our girls working with them and helping our eldest learn to ride. Our little one really took to horses even though she was only around 4 or 5 years old. She and her husband went on to raise and show Tennessee Walkers and board others on their farm. Our eldest learned to ride well. I remember how proud Hank was of Big Sky and Snowy. Then came the cows.
Hank was quite a guy. A wonderful person. Our family will always remember him and be thankful he was part of our lives in the past.
So sorry for your loss.
