My deepest condolences to Dwayne, Megan and the Hill family. There are no words to express the sorrow that you are all going through, but the memories you have will allow your hearts to heal. My thoughts and prayers go out to all of you. I am very thankful to Hazel for her allowing me to be her friend. I have many cherished memories that are filled with laughter and joy. I will miss her, but she will not be forgotten.

I spoke with my mom today and she said the church was packed. Obviously Hazel was loved and respected by so many people in the community. Condolences to the entire nutty Hill family - I am sure there are some great memories that you will all cherish with smiles on your faces.

To Dwayne, Megan and all of Hazel's family, Peter and I were shocked and saddened to hear of Hazel's passing. I always enjoyed working with Hazel and appreciated her keeping me up to date with all the work events after I retired. I thoroughly enjoyed our annual luncheons that Hazel organized for her, Anne and myself since my retirement, and loved seeing her and Dwayne enjoying their lovely new home in town. Her death will leave a huge hole in all of your lives, but knowing Hazel, I'm sure there will be lots of happy memories whenever your family gathers. I'm sorry we were unable to attend the service today, but we were with you all in spirit. Rest well Hazel - I will miss you. Linda & Peter Whalley

Hazel will always be in my thoughts. We go back to grade 1 - always watching over her in case she needed a sugar lump for her diabetes 12 years of school together and after graduation formed our 'circle of friends' Hazel, Paulette, Bev Brenda Bonnie Leola Sharon Janice Wendy and Jeanette. Every 5 years we meet to celebrate life and our continuing friendship. We are sad our circle is broken but we will remember the good times. Rest in peace Hazel.
