On November 27, 2017 Mike Lesyk of Wetaskiwin passed away at the age of 79 years.
Mike is survived by his loving family; wife of 54 years, Margaret; children, Connie (Perry) Fox of Calgary; Christine Westfall of Edmonton; Michael (Tina) Lesyk of Wetaskiwin; seven grandchildren, Kelsey (Mitch) Britton of Grande Prairie, Kyle Fox of Edmonton, D.J. (Keke) Westfall of Houston, TX, Dalyce Westfall of Edmonton and Madison, Matthew and Nicholas Lesyk of Wetaskiwin; two great-grandchildren, Mackenzee Britton and Payton Westfall; brothers, Bill (Jean) Lesyk and Walter (Marie) Lesyk; sister, Edna (Ron) Fradsham as well as numerous nieces, nephews and many friends.
Mike was predeceased by his parents, Paul and Mary Lesyk; brothers, Pete and Donald, and sisters, Ann Capjack and Stella Slone.
Respecting Mike’s wishes, cremation will take place and no formal service will be held.
In Mike’s memory, donations are gratefully accepted to S.T.A.R.S. or Stollery Children’s Hospital Foundation.
