Just thinking about your Mom and learned that she passed a few years ago. She and your Dad were very special to us and we hold their memories close to our hearts 💞

It is with great sadness that I learned that dear Eda has passed away. She was a beloved friend and "sister," and one of a remarkable coterie of enlightened progressive women of a certain generation in our "Isolated Feminists" group west of the 5th. Our group met once a month or so, enjoying a potluck feast before we "circled" to discuss topics of interest and current issues, and to lend support to other women isolated in rural Alberta. I am grateful that she and the others of her generation (Gerry Bailey, Alice Young, Betty Hay, and Madeline Smith) shared their "ways of knowing" and wisdom with those of us who followed. Love was the prevailing thread in our gathering, especially of small babies, our families, equality, education, social justice, our local and global communities, the "Sisterhood," . . . and most surely for the beautiful blue planet. My deepest sympathies and sincere condolences go out to all of her family. I truly loved Eda.
