We were shocked and deeply saddened to read of Irene's passing. Although we only knew her from our visits to get this or that from home hardware, she was our go to gal. This winter we were there a lot due to renos and she became more than customer service to my children. They (especially my 4 year old) would be on the look for that Grandma that works here! She always had a smile, a hug, and time for my kids and I. You didn't know something, she would. Aways a tidbit of advice for my oldest son, and always asked about what was going on with them. (And remembered it, when we'd see her next!!) You don't see that in customer service much these days and she went over and above every time. Irene, I stopped in there today and it's sure not the same without you. Thank you for being amazing. We will remember you. Sending our love and prayers to all of her family and friends.
