Winnifred Mary (Allan) Nicholson

The family wishes to announce that Winnifred Mary Nicholson (nee Allan) passed away on February 20, 2025 at the age of 101 years.  Winnie is survived by her sons, R. Garry Nicholson and Kenneth “Nick” (Moira D.) Nicholson; grandchildren, Sean (and his mother, Elizabeth Nicholson), Carly R.A. and Bryn M., as well as numerous extended family members.

Winnie was predeceased by her husband Larry Nicholson (2003) and her parents, Harold and Sybil Allan.

As per Winnie’s wishes, cremation has taken place and no formal service will be held. 

Donations in her memory are gratefully accepted to the Alberta Cancer Foundation or to the Alzheimer Society of Alberta and Northwest Territories.
