Wayne Ivor Jones

Wayne Ivor Jones of Ponoka passed away peacefully on April 11, 2022, at 79 years of age.

Wayne is survived by his loving spouse of 56 years, Judy, and their son Dennis (Tara) and their children Andrew, Matthew (Karen) and Shawn (Cassandra) and son Darcy and his daughter Andria (Chris) and their children Chase, Blaze, and Riott.  Wayne is also survived by his siblings Beverly (Dennis), Harvey (Roberta), Valerie and Julie (Phil) and brother in-law Melvin (Evelyn) and many nieces and nephews.  Wayne was predeceased by his parents Ivor and Myfanwy Jones and father and mother-in-law Gordon and Isabel Tugman.

There will be public viewing at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 19, at the Ponoka Funeral Home, with a Celebration of life at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 20, at the Ponoka United Church followed by a graveside service and memorial reception.  For those unable to attend due to distance or health, the celebration of life will be live-streamed broadcast and a recording will also be available for viewing at a later time.  The video link is located below
