Walter Reinard Pohl
August 15, 1924 - August 4, 2022

It is with much love that we announce Dad’s peaceful passing to be with his Lord and Saviour Jesus on August 4, 2022.  He was devoted to his deceased wife  Frieda, as well as his family and the church.  Walter lived his whole life in Wetaskiwin.  He farmed and operated a dairy farm west of town, and was very proud of his purebread Guernzeys. 

Walter is lovingly remembered by his children, Norman (Norma Jeanne), Ronald (Laurie), Kenneth (Dawn), Louise (Ken), Eldon (Annicka), Marvin (Marilyn), numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; his brother, Ben (Ruby), sister-in-law, Elfriede as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, August 11, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Grace Lutheran Church in Wetaskiwin.  The service will be recorded.  Donations in Walter’s memory are gratefully accepted to the Good Shepherd Lutheran Home or to the Canadian Lutheran World Relief.  

The family would like to thank the staff at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Home for their kindness and care with Dad.
