Walter David Larson passed away peacefully at the age of 83 years on Tuesday, June 30, 2026 at the Red Deer Regional Hospital with family by his side.  Walter was born on July 24, 1942 in Hughenden, Alberta. He was predeceased by his beloved wife Char Larson, his parents and a sister. 
Walter is lovingly remembered by his children, Sheri (Jim) and Brad (Margaret) as well as his extended family and many friends. He was a proud member of the Royal Canadian Legion member who enjoyed country life and will be remembered for his kindness, quiet sense of humour and deep love for his family. Cremation has taken place. A private memorial service will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. Walter will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
