Victoria (Porcina) Bruce

We are sad to share that Vicki (Victoria) Bruce passed away on Saturday, September 6, 2025 in Red Deer Hospital at the age of 87. Although she left  us all too quickly, we are thankful that her battle with pneumonia was not prolonged, and that we had some precious moments together to say goodbye. 

Vicki will be remembered as a quiet, kind, and gentle support to her husband, Bob (Robert) Bruce, for 62 years. She loved her children, Corene (Mark) Glover and Nolan Bruce, and her grandchildren, Janelle, Sandra and Laura Glover. She spent her life caring for her family, and she will be dearly missed by her brother Marshall (Shirley) Porcina; sister Doris Gancer; sister-in-law Evelyn (Trenchuk) Bruce; and an extended family of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

She was predeceased by her parents, John and Mary (Zalaski) Porcina; and brothers-in-law, Henry Gancer and James Bruce. We will miss her prayers for us each day, and the love she had for all those she held close. 

A Celebration of Life will be held for her on Sunday, September 21 at 11:00 a.m. at the College Heights Seventh-day Adventist Church, 6910 University Drive, College Heights, AB T4L 1Z9.
