Verna Tillie (Zilke) Schalin

On August 4, 2025 Mrs. Verna Schalin of Ponoka passed away at the age of 97 years.

Verna is survived by her son Douglas; sisters Merle Benke, Norma Fillenberg, and Dianne (Ed) Fraser; in-laws Bea Schalin, and Myrna and Bert Harsch; as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends. She was predeceased by her parents William and Martha Zilke, her husband Gordon, her daughter Heather, and sisters Alarie Ertman and Darlene Dreger.

A Time Of Remembrance will be held at Forest Home Cemetery on Wednesday, August 6, 2025 at 11:00 a.m.
