Verden Allen Sharp of Wetaskiwin AB. passed away on Saturday, March 22/2025 at the age of 73. His devoted niece and caregiver Lena Jackson, was by his side, along with loving family, as he passed peacefully in his sleep.
He is the third of nine children. Left to cherish his memory are his brothers and sisters, Dwaine (Bea) Sharp, Shirley Podmore, Gwen Brozny, Ruby (Brian ) Welda. Larry Gott (Cherri). Lynn (Don) Getzinger, Allen (Lorna) Gott.
His four children..Denise (James) Larson, Kelly Sharp (Cindy), Martin Sharp (Karli), Falcon (Deanna) Unger; numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Verden was predeceased by his grandfather, William Leo Rook; grandmother, Hildur Amanda Rook; mother, Gladys Evelyn Gott; father, George Allen Sharp; and brother, Glen Sharp.
In lieu of flowers if family or friends would like to donate to the Parkinson's research society or the cancer society that would be greatly appreciated.
