Valerie Ann (Klatt) Meger

On the morning of October 20, 2024, Valerie Meger passed away peacefully at the age of 71 years.

Val grew up in Bashaw, Alberta where she continued to live after marrying Clifford Meger. Cliff and Val had 2 boys, Carman and Trent, who were very active in sports. They loved to go fishing and camping.

Val was devoted to her family and her friends. Her sense humour and her compassion and care for others will be missed.

Valerie is survived by her sons Carman and Trent (Susan); grandchildren Brendan, Brady (McKenna), Cole, and Brooklynn; 6 great-grandchildren; and her brother Larry (Eleanor) Klatt.  She was predeceased by her husband Clifford; and her parents Emmanuel and Violet.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 28th at 2:00 p.m. at the Bashaw Cemetery in Bashaw, Alberta.
