Timothy Ivan Petley, of Wetaskiwin, Alberta, passed away on Thursday, July 9, 2026, at the age of 66 years.

Tim was born in Minto, New Brunswick and resided in Wetaskiwin, Alberta. He graduated from Sussex High School in New Brunswick and held various jobs over the years. One of his favourite hobbies was working on cars and especially loved his Trans Am.

Tim is survived by his mother, Carol Taylor; daughter, Alison; sister, Susan Betts; three nieces, Amanda Petley, Tanis Betts, and Leslie Daniel; nephew, Tyler Daniel; as well as many other extended family members and friends.

He was predeceased by his father, Donald Petley and his sister, Joane Daniel, whom we’d like to think are all getting reacquainted.
