Thelma Audrey (Fidler) Cartwright

It is with heartfelt sorrow that the family of Thelma Audrey (Fidler) Cartwright announces her passing at Ponoka Hospital and Care Centre, Palliative Care Suite, Ponoka, Alberta on January 23, 2023. Thelma was born on September 19, 1933, in Hardwood Ridge, New Brunswick to Wilfred and Eva Fidler. We take great comfort in knowing that she is now with her Lord and Savior. 
 
Thelma will be lovingly remembered by her children Dale Cartwright-McLeod, Richard (Jinny Park) Cartwright, Gloria (Kevin) Luft, and Jeffery Cartwright; her grandchildren Katie (Kris) Richter, Ryan (Kimberly Spielman) Luft, Brian Joseph McLeod, Timothy Luft, Christen (Vern) Runzer, Brett (Christine Jensen) Luft, Richard Park, and William Park; great-grandchildren Sutton Richter, Amelia Runzer, Sloane Richter, Jackson Luft, and Clara Runzer; step-grandchildren Natasha Tetreau and Stacie Delaney; her sister June Alexander; as well as numerous family and friends.  
 
Thelma was predeceased by her parents Wilfred and Eva Fidler, sisters Betty and Gloria, brothers Robert (Bob) and William (Bill), and grandson Daniel Luft.  
  
A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, January 31, 2023, at the Church of the Open Bible, Ponoka, Alberta at 1:00 p.m. (live-stream link is located below).  
 
In lieu of flowers, donations in Thelma’s memory are gratefully accepted to the Ponoka & District Health Foundation or the charity of one’s choice.
