Tanis Lee Jousset

On December 13, 2020 our Mother, Daughter, Sister, Aunty and Grandmother found the peace she longed for for so long.

Tanis Lee Jousset, born May 27, 1981 in Barrhead, Alberta, is survived by her handsome son Dominic Kootenay; beautiful daughter Erian Brick; mother Charleen Reeves; father Michael Kanakis; identical twin Tammy Nahorney; big sister Tia Reeves; brother-in-law Landon Nahorney; as well as many nieces and nephews, uncles and aunts. She is remembered for her beautiful personality, loving heart, caring for everyone around her, that radiant smile and contagious laughter.  She was always the brightest person in the room. She is loved and is greatly missed.

In lieu of flowers, we will set up a go fund me for Tanis’s children. In case you are uncomfortable with online funds, they can be sent to Tammy Nahorney who will ensure the delegations will be distributed properly.

Our family would like to thank you all for your supportive thoughts and prayers as we grieve this great loss.

Due to the current restrictions on public gatherings, a private family Funeral Service will be held on Monday, December 21, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at the Ponoka Funeral Home.
