NEIS, Susan Jean
1949 – 2021
With heavy hearts, the Neis family announces the passing of our sister and aunt, Susan. She passed quietly and at peace at the Wetaskiwin Hospital.
Susan was born in Vermilion, Alberta and lived there for many years before moving to the Wetaskiwin area. Sue loved small animals and children, especially the girls. Having grown up with 5 brothers, she learned to speak up for herself and hold her ground.
Sue was predeceased by her mother, Rosella; father, Clarence; brothers, Lewis and Alvin. She will be lovingly remembered by her brothers Peter, Bill, and Sam; nieces, nephews, as well as many relatives and friends. Due to current restrictions her Celebration of Life and service will hopefully be held later this summer in Vermilion, Alberta. Sue will rest in the family plot, at the Catholic Cemetery in Vermilion.
A heartfelt thank you to WDACS and staff, and Horizon’s Centre and staff for their many years of loving care and service to Susan. In lieu of flowers, donations in Susan’s name may be made to the Horizon’s Centre in Wetaskiwin,Alberta.
