Shirley (Keil) Green

With sadness we announce that Shirley Green of Breton, Alberta passed away on Sunday, July 19, 2026 at the age of 89.  She was born on May 10, 1937 in Athabasca, Alberta. 

Shirley is survived by her loving children, Antony (Dianne), Joy (Ken), Janet and David; her brother, John (Irene); 14 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren, and 5.5 great-great-grandchildren.  Shirley was predeceased by her husband, Claude; her parents, Kristoff and Margaret; sons, Jody and Chris; sisters, Doris, Florence and Rose; grandson Michel; and great-granddaughter, Cheyenne, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members and many friends. 

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 1, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. at the Moose Lodge (4915 49 Street) in Wetaskiwin.
