Scott Marvin James Sedgewick

Scott Marvin James Sedgewick, 35 of Wetaskiwin suddenly passed away at home on Friday September 19, 2025.

Scotty was born February 4, 1990 in Calgary and eventually moved to Wetaskiwin where he married the love of his life and started his family.

Scott is survived by his loving wife Darla; son, Jace; and daughter, Aydin. Also to mourn his loss is his mother, Dianna (Jovan); brother, Mark; grandmother, Louise; parents-in-law, Melanie and Dan; auntie, Theresa (Mike), cousins, Payton (Rhett), Madison, Jordan (Blair) and Bryer.  Scotty was blessed to have an extended family with bonus dad, George (Natalie), Brandon and Shayne; extended family members, Dennis and Jessie and Adam.  

Scott loved his children with all his heart and was excited to watch them grow.  When Jace showed interest in gaming, Scott walked around the house chest all puffed and the biggest smile. When Aydin came into the world, he had his little girl, who he would call his little wee one.  Anyone that knew Scotty knew he had the most amazing smile, well it grew 20 times larger when he was talking about his wife and children.  He will be missed and eternally loved. 

Scott is predeceased by his bio dad, Garth, poppa, Marvin; and cousin, Travis
