Ruth Irene Kiss (nee Hieman)

October 27, 1930 - January 8, 2021

It is with great sadness that the family of Ruth Kiss announces her passing on Friday, January 8, at the age of 90 years. 

She was actively involved with the Moose Lodge in Wetaskiwin, was proud of her vegetable garden and flowers, and enjoyed being part of various community groups in town.  Ruth's greatest pride was her family.  She was never as happy as when she spent time with her two granddaughters.

She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Jeff (Trena) and Carol, and granddaughters Kennedy and Brooklyn, sister Anne (Bill) and brother Ken. 

Ruth is predeceased by her husband Coleman, parents Adolf and Pauline Hieman, sister Hazel, and brothers Arthur, Carl and Norman.  

Special thanks to Dr. Gagnon and the staff at Points West Living, Wetaskiwin for their kindness and support of Mom and family during this difficult time.
