Ruby Pohl (nee Winter)
April 1935 - May 2025
It is with deep sorrow and love that we mourn the peaceful passing of Ruby Pohl at the age of 90 years.
Ruby is remembered by her children, Darlene (Bert), Anita, Kathleen (Darek), Victor (Susanne), and Donald (Tracy); grandchildren, Christine, Jennifer, Melania, Greg, Anthony, Sophia, Ceyanna, Hannah, Matheson and Sarah; as well as great grandchildren, Saige, Avery and Marlo. Ruby is also survived by her sister, Anna (John) of Nanaimo, B.C. She was predeceased by her husband, Ben; parents, William and Hilda Winter; sisters, Minnie and Lydia; brothers, Harry, Victor, Fred and Edward; as well as son-in- law, Ulrich.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the incredible caring staff on Unit 35 at Wetaskiwin Hospital. These health care workers were very compassionate and made Ruby’s last days peaceful. Thank you also to the many people who expressed their sympathies and gave support to the family.
