Ruby Adell Bentson

1922-2021

Ruby was born the 6th day of March, 1922 at Wetaskiwin, Alberta. She passed away peacefully at The Good Shepherd Lutheran Home (in Wetaskiwin) on the 21st day of August, 2021. She was predeceased by her parents, Adolph and Florence Bentson; brothers, Robert, Stanley and Philip; nephew, Wayne (Bev). She is remembered by nephews and nieces, Larry (Leah), Laurie, Philip Jr. (Kim), Darren, Doyle (Stephanie), Cindy (Todd), Grant (Penny), Ken, Gail, Ron, Stanley Jr. (Gemma) and numerous great nephews and nieces. Ruby loved life and spent 99 years and five months dwelling with us here in this world. She lived her life serving family, church and community with joy and unyielding faith in God. She will be missed and reminisced about by all those who came to love and respect her. Special thank you to the staff at Good Shepherd for the excellent care they gave to Ruby.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, August 28, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in Wetaskiwin Full Gospel Fellowship, 3916- 64 St. Wetaskiwin with a memorial service to follow at 2:00 p.m. Donations if desired, can be made to
