Roselynne Lewis Ballhorn
September 17, 1949 - January 15, 2026
Roselynne Lewis Ballhorn passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 15th, 2026, at the age of 76, surrounded by her family.
Roselynne is lovingly remembered by her husband of 49 years, Bill; her three sons, Stuart (Julie), Blakely (Jennifer), and Scott; her cherished grandchildren, Bradley, Cameron, Jacob, Ellery, Alexandra, and Edward; her mother, Simone Lewis; her brother, Blake Lewis; and her many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
Roselynne had a deep appreciation for life’s simple pleasures — enjoying a good espresso, travelling, and her time working at Wetaskiwin Literacy. She also embraced adventure, hiking mountains with her sons, skiing with her family and even skydiving. Her greatest adventure of all, however, was moving from California to a farm in central Alberta where she would go on to raise her family. Above all else, she found her greatest joy in being surrounded by family and friends and in watching her grandchildren grow.
She was predeceased by her father, Blakely Lewis.
A private celebration of life will be held at Baker Funeral Chapel, Wetaskiwin, with Gaie Goin officiating.
If friends or family so desire, memorial contributions are greatly appreciated and gratefully accepted to:
