Rory Page Obituary

It’s with great sadness that we share that our brother, Rory, passed away after a sudden and serious illness, June 13, five years exactly since his wife, Rosanne, passed.

Everything happened very quickly, and we’re still coming to terms with losing him. We’re so grateful for the care he received at the South Health Campus Hospital in Calgary, and for all the love, support, and kind messages we’ve received from family and friends. We especially want to thank Helen, David, and Barb Page for all their care and help.

Rory was one of the kindest, most caring people you could ever meet. A proud Red River Métis and Cree man, he had a deep love for his culture, his family, and the land. He was happiest outdoors and especially enjoyed his dogs, horses, hunting, and fishing. Some people may not know that he also wrote poetry, which reflected the unique way he saw the world.

Rory was predeceased by his parents, Lorna and Don Page and by his wife, Rosanne. He leaves behind their daughter, Emalea; his brothers Jeff (Monica), Ross (Mella), Campbell (Colleen), and Jason (Debbie), along with their families. Rory was incredibly proud of his nieces and nephews and loved them very much. He will also be very missed by Jake and Bella Mae, his constant four-legged companions.

We will be holding a private gathering at a later date.

Thank you for keeping our family in your thoughts during this difficult time.
