Robert Peter Lewis

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Robert ‘Rob’ Lewis on November 22, 2025, at the age of 69. Rob was born on April 2, 1956 in Thunder Bay, Ontario to Haig and Betty (nee Barr) Lewis.

Rob spent a majority of his adult life dedicating himself to teaching. He had a thirst for knowledge and expanding the future of students. One of his proudest achievements was being able to help his students reach their full potential.

Rob’s greatest pride was his family. He was married to his wife Wendy for 35 years, together they had two children Peter and Robin. 

He was predeceased by his father Haig and his mother Betty. He is survived by his wife Wendy, their children Peter and Robin; his brother Doug and sister-in-law Cindy, and their children Shawna and Cameron. 

A memorial service will take place Monday, December 1, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at Grace Lutheran Church in Wetaskiwin.  

Donations in Rob’s memory are gratefully accepted to the Stollery Children’s Hospital Foundation.
