Robert Nathan Johnston

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Robert Nathan Johnston. Robbie passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on July 11, 2022. Words cannot express the grief that we all feel.

Rob was born and raised in Ponoka, Alberta. He followed his dad in the plumbing and gas fitting trades, becoming a master tradesman and instructor.

Mourning his loss is his wife Sherry; son Jared; daughter Stephanie; grandchildren Max and Joy; his mother Keitha Lewis; his brother Shaun (Susan); nephews Shea and Cael; and all the Johnston and Lewis families. Rob was predeceased by his dad F.G. (Bill) Johnston; baby sister, Cassandra Johnston; and step-dad Alan Lewis. 

To know Rob was to like Rob.

A Celebration of Life will be held for Rob on September 16, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #66, Ponoka. Please join his mom, Keitha Lewis; his brother, Shaun Johnston; and our families as we share our farewells over lunch and stories.
