Richard Lorenz Henschel

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Richard Lorenz Henschel of Wetaskiwin.  Richard was predeceased by his wife Karen, whom he now joins in Heaven.  He was loved and will be dearly missed by his son, Bryan (Jody) Henschel; daughter, Aileen (Darin) Meyer; grandson, Matthew; granddaughter, Lindsey as well as numerous relatives and friends.  
Richard did many things throughout his life but his most favourite roles were that of a Husband, Father, Grandpa, Uncle and Friend.
We would like to thank the amazing staff in Long Term Care at the Wetaskiwin Hospital for the care they have given to Richard over these past few years.  Also, thank you to the family and friends who have shown such tremendous support to Richard and his family.  In lieu of flowers, donations are gratefully accepted to the Wetaskiwin Health Foundation (6910 - 47 Street, Wetaskiwin, Alberta T9A 3N3). 
Following their wishes, a private family ceremony will be held for both Richard and Karen.
