Peter Lowell Gilbert

Peter was diagnosed with cancer in July of 2018. He died at home on February 10, 2020. He is survived by his wife, Nancy; the mother of his children, Judy; their sons, Scott and Tucker (Janelle); grandchildren, Helena, Cooper, Ford, Lachlan and Willow; brothers, Dave (Patty), Andrew (Rita); and sister, Ruth Mary; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Pete spent many years as a lawyer in Edmonton before moving the practice to Wetaskiwin. His true calling was the outdoors, were he attempted to be a cowboy and a great golfer. Pete thought his greatest accomplishment was the log house he designed and built. There were lots of good times had there. He was a beautiful man inside and out, who is going to be missed. Pete’s last party will be held on February 29th, 2020 at the Edmonton Scottish Society (3105 101 Street SW, Edmonton, Alberta) from 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations will be gratefully accepted to the charity of your choice.
