It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Peggi Ann Martin on October 1, 2025, in the company of her family. She will be remembered as a charming, generous person of gentle nature, calling herself “the old hippy lady”. Peggi will also be remembered for her years as a volunteer at the food bank and canvasing for the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Her memory will not fade for those who knew her and were touched by her presence. She was devoted to and survived by her husband Rick; sons Eric and Jesse; and sisters Miriam Wright and Patti Smith. She was predeceased by her brothers Jack and Donald Sweet. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Peggi’s name are gratefully accepted to a cancer research foundation of your choice or the Alberta Heart and Stroke Foundation. A Memorial Service gathering will be held at a later date.
