Pearl Hay Obituary

It is with broken hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Pearl Oveda Hay of Wetaskiwin, Alberta.
Pearl was the oldest of four children born to the late Arthur and Gladies Bolton. After graduating Wetaskiwin High School, she married Albert Hay.  Pearl and Albert built their home at the Hay farm, raised three children and she lived at the farm for the rest of her life until she passed peacefully. Pearl was a talented baker, seamstress, cook and canner. She enjoyed camping with friends and family, Big Valley Jamboree and polka music.  She was passionate about her family and always ensured they were all taken care of.
Pearl is survived by her children, Lyle Hay, Wayne Hay and Marlene McGregor; sibling, Gordon  (Cecilia Corrigan) Bolton; four grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren, Raymond (Julie) and Angus Christenson; Richard (Kalena) and Tucker, Walker, Harlee, Hayden, Lincoln and Libby Christenson; Giselle (Curtis) and Henry, Brooke, and Jade Smith; and Veronica (Dave) and Cora Owen. She will be missed by many of her neighbours, co-workers, friends near and far and many acquaintances.

Pearl was predeceased by her parents; husband, Albert Hay; brothers, Norman and Donald Bolton; and an infant sister, Dorreen.
