Patricia Marlene (Nicholas) Boutilier

Patricia Marlene Boutilier passed away peacefully in Wetaskiwin, AB on Thursday, February 12, 2026 at the age of 86, with family by her side.

Patricia was predeceased by her husband Basil; daughter Pauline in infancy; her parents, Fenwick and Nora Nicholas and her brothers, Doug and Donald.

She is survived by her son Steven and daughter Valerie (Ralph); her grandchildren, Michael, Joshua, Ashley and Collin; her niece Sally Ann and her best friend Rachel.

Patricia was born in Halifax, NS in 1940, and later moved to Alberta in 1976 where she remained until her passing.  Mom never lost her eastern accent.  She was an avid reader and had a deep love for all animals. She always enjoyed her time volunteering at the Wetaskiwin Archives.  

Cremation has taken place as per Patricia’s request.  If desired, a donation to the Wetaskiwin Animal Shelter is gratefully appreciated in her memory.
