Orest "Larry" Kutney

Orest Larry Kutney was born to Michael and Anna Kutney September 6, 1932, and passed on May 27, 2022 in Red Deer, Alberta at the age of 89. Larry will be missed by his sons David (Elizabeth) Kutney, and Keir (Janice) Kutney. He will also be missed by his grandchildren Evan, Adrienne, and Samantha; and seven great-grandchildren. Larry was born and grew up in Canora Saskatchewan. As a young man he met his wife Doreen in Toronto and they were married in 1958. He had an oilfield career and worked for Home Oil in Carstairs until retirement. Larry took pleasure spending countless cherished hours with his children enjoying snooker, fishing, darts, curling, golf and music. He was a selfless generous man, who would go the extra mile to get a smile and laugh out of people. As a life long musician, he played guitar, harmonica, and sang. As per Larry’s wishes, there will be no funeral and donations can be made to any charity of your choice.  We would like to extend a thank you to the Inglewood Rivera staff.
