To the man who was our person. You instilled perseverance, patience, passion and our favorite...a love for speed, cars and racing. You gave us an incredibly unique and treasured childhood, full of vibrant memories. You went above and beyond to keep us in play with our peers on the track. We recognized your all nighters in the garage to get our cars ready. Your late nights putting in overtime at work, the extra side jobs and giving up your only days off to take us to our races, practice runs, travelling all over to create those beautiful memories for us. Never letting us see your exhaustion, never complaining of your lack of rest or time for yourself. To not only dedicate yourself to your children in this way, you did it single-handedly.

We see so much of you in our daily lives; your influence of hard work, dedication, your passion to strive for greatness. Never giving up even though life did not come easy for you. "You can't choose what life throws at you, but you can choose how you react to it." Dad, you were the embodiment of this quote. You were always consciously teaching us, pouring your knowledge out with love. I'm sure we didn't make it easy; but, your love came through your guidance, your patience with us. You'll be honored daily through our actions, through our parenting of your grandchildren. You will be forever missed, love you always and forever.
