Morley Albert Magistad

Morley was born on January 9, 1937 to parents George and Grace Magistad and passed away at the Northcott Care Centre in Ponoka, Alberta on March 27, 2020 at the age of 83 years. Morley was born in Vermilion, Alberta. He grew up on the farm but came to Ponoka in 1958 and obtained his psychiatric nursing diploma in 1962. He worked at the Alberta Hospital Ponoka until he retired in 1993. Following that, he enjoyed working at the acreage at Gull Lake until his health changed that. He married Marilynne Jarvis in 1963; they had no children.

Morley is survived by his wife Marilynne; his sister Georgetta Janz (Orval) of Winnipeg; three nieces and a nephew, and their families; three sisters-in-law and their families; as well as cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his parents and a brother.

At Morley's request, no Funeral Service will be held.
