Mitchell is survived by his daughter, Tayla Rain; brothers, Sheldon Morin, Kevin, Dexter (Katrina), Trevor, Christopher (Roxanne), Shiloh (Maggie), Ricky, Daniel (Carma), Curtis (Ashley) Giroux, Ordell (Melody) Saddleback, Troy, Cory, Jamie Giroux, Donovan Sr., Kelsey Crane, Irvin (Priscilla), Brian,  Bruce (Sherry), Gordon Ward; adopted dad, Jerry Saddleback Sr.; sisters, Shannon Omeasoo, Janine Giroux, Kayla Giroux, Nikkita Whitequills, Rochelle (Sonny) Saskatchewan, Naomi Giroux, Suzie Crane, Sandra R,  Elaine (Ralph), Karen (Curtis), Lorna,  as well as numerous extended family members and friends.

Mitchell was predeceased by his dad, Richard Giroux; mom, Lorraine Morin; Kimberly Morin, Darren Omeasoo; grandparents, Henry and Ida Roasting; adopted mom, Hilda Saddleback; uncles, Harvey, Elliston and Marvin Roasting, Ian Saddleback; great-grandparents, Percy (Lily), Robert (Josephine) as well as Doris Applegarth.
