Miranda is survived by her mother, Colleen (Howard Quintal); step-dad, Al Soosay, Naci Kasimoglu; children, Ezren, Anton, Taylor (father Yasar), Neveah, Aiden and Zaiden; siblings, Nadia Lightning, Mikey Lightning (Cassandra) and Mary Johnson; nieces and nephews, Lonnie Jr., Nadaisha, Nyeda, Dominik (Allysa), Cassdon, Cayston; aunties and uncles, Lisa Lightning, Faye Lightning-Eckstein (daughters, Hannah and Madeisen), Mario Lightning, Alex Lightning, Ryan Lightning, Pam Johnson, as well as numerous extended family members and friends.

Miranda was predeceased by Helen Lightning, Edward Lightning, Wilda Lightning, Leona Roasting, Hazel Johnson, Roxanne Johnson, Delores Johnson, Jez Lightning.
