Michael John Russell Lowe

Michael John Russell Lowe was born in Comox, BC on March 27, 1979, the firstborn of three children.  Mike enjoyed outdoor activities that included camping, quadding, and fishing.  He especially loved spending time with his children and family dirt biking.  He enjoyed tinkering with stuff and making things with his son - they both had big dreams.

Mike left us on November 5, 2024 after a short battle with cancer.  He was diagnosed on July 29, 2024 and it spread throughout his body in a short time.

Mike was a man of few words, but had a heart of gold.  If you needed help or to borrow a tool, he would be right there.  He will be sadly missed by his partner Melissa Schimpf and their two children Boston and Cheyenne; his mother Carole Verrault (Austin); his father Mike Lowe (Marion); his two sisters Elizabeth Lowe (Wayne) and Angela Blasetti (Chris); his parent-in-law Bryon and Bev Schimpf; brother-in-law Clinton Schimpf (Jennifer); and eight nieces and nephews.

There will not be a service for Mike at this time.  A Memorial will be held in the spring of 2025.
