Mary Jane (Baird) Bedford

With heavy hearts we announce that Mary Jane Bedford (nee Baird) passed away on April 8, 2025 at the age of 96 years.  

Mary is survived by her loving family - sons, Lionel (Susan) of Wetaskiwin, AB, and Leslie (Holly) of Ituna, SK; daughter, Nancy Radkie of Whitecourt, AB; 10 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; sister, Isabelle MacDearmid; sister-in-law, Millie Baird; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends. She was predeceased by her husband, Norman; granddaughter, Jaclyn; son, Allan; daughter-in-law, Shanda; brothers, James and Robert as well as her sister, Margaret.  

As per Mary’s wishes, cremation will take place and private family services will be held. 

Donations in her memory are gratefully accepted to the First United Church (5115 51 Avenue, Wetaskiwin, Alberta, T9A 0V3) or to a donation of your choice.
