TONHAUSER, Marvin Micheal
June 11, 1947 - April 1, 2026
Marvin Micheal Tonhauser passed away peacefully in Wetaskiwin, at the age of 78 years, surrounded by the love of family.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Marilyn; son, Daniel; daughter, Michelle; his grandchildren, Morgan (Ryan), Corey (Tamyka), Danielle (Travis), Erin and Gunner; his great grandchildren, Leland, Watson and Bradley. He is also survived by his brothers, Dennis (Dianne) and Harry (Susan); brothers-in-law, Gordon (Nancy) Watson, Bob (Vicky) Watson; sisters-in-law, Lois (Bob) Ronnie, Susan (Brian) Schauerte; son-in-law, Ryan Van Slyke; daughter-in-law, Katie Boeve; his beloved pet, Khloe and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and many beloved friends.
Marvin is predeceased by his parents, Mike and Meta Tonhauser; step father, Walter Phillips; mother-in-law, Evelyn; father-in-law, Stan; and his daughters, Shelley and Chantelle Van Slyke.
Marvin was an honest and hard working man who found success in his entrepreneurial endevors within the oilfield sector. He was generous with his time and money - helping whoever he could. He often found great rewards for his character, such as great friends and cherry pie. Marvin spent many of his younger years playing sports such as curling, slow pitch, golf, hockey, and stock car racing. As her grew older, he resolved to instead watch them on television. He spent his free time with family, tinkering in his shop, woodworking, refurbishing old cars or watching reruns of Star Trek and M.A.S.H. .
Cremation has taken place.
