Martha Gust
Martha Gust of Stettler, Alberta died peacefully at the age of 87 years following a faith-filled battle with cancer. Left to cherish her memory are her children Linda Lutz (Everley) of Kelowna, Bryan Gust (Terri) of Bashaw, Douglas Gust (Edana) of Airdrie, Dale Gust (Karen) of Red Deer and Tom Gust (Kathy) of Edmonton; her grandchildren Jeffrey (Joanne), Scott, Ryan (Jessica), Lisa, David, Lauren, Jennifer (Matthew), Michael, Stephen; her great-grandchildren Courtney, Jason, and Eric; her brother Anton (Freda) Schultz; her sisters Rita (Clifford) Andrus, and Linda (Art) Barber; and sister-in-law Rita Gust. Martha was born the seventh child of Rudolf and Christina Schultz. She was predeceased by her husband of 53 years, John Gust; her parents Rudolf and Christina; her brothers Robert, Eric and Walter; and her sisters Wanda and Tena. Martha lived in Bashaw until November of 2006 when she moved to Stettler. She was an active member of St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church in Stettler, Alberta. The family gratefully acknowledges the doctor and staff of the Stettler Hospital and Heritage House for their compassion and wonderful care.
A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday,
August 8, 2018 at 2:30 p.m. at the
St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church in Stettler, Alberta.
The Interment will take place at 11:00 a.m. at the
St. Peter's Cemetery, Bashaw, Alberta.
