It is with great sadness that the family of Marilyn K. Valkenburg announce her passing, on Thursday, February 6, 2020, at the age of 70 years.
Marilyn will be deeply missed by her husband of 43 years, Jerry; her two children, Alyssa (Gary) and Adam (Shannon); granddaughters, Teegan and Danaka; grandson, Cole; sister, Bonnie Gaalaas (Bill) of Edmonton and brother, Bob Badry (Marsha) of Balfour, BC. She will also by missed by numerous cousins, aunts, nieces and nephews, friends, in-laws; and her dog, Jack.
Marilyn was predeceased by her parents, Urban and Kay Badry.
Marilyn was a people person and well known as a teller for many years at C.I.B.C. and for Driving Miss Daisy... her pride and joy. Her life was her family, friends, and her seniors and she could talk your ear off if you let her. Marilyn will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Memorial Service: Baker Funeral Chapel, Wetaskiwin on Thursday, February 13, 2020 at 2:00 p.m.
