Marian Martha (Renwick) Hiebert

Our beloved wife, mother, grandma, sister, aunt, and friend, Marian (Renwick) Hiebert, passed away peacefully on October 31, 2025.

Though our hearts ache from her sudden passing due to recently diagnosed advanced cancer, Marian reminded us before she left that she was being called to a new job in a different territory.  We are comforted by the sure and joyful knowledge that she is reunited with loved ones who have gone before and is shining her light in Heaven.

A Memorial Service and Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, November 9, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at the Ponoka Funeral Home (livestream viewer located below).  A Memorial Reception will follow at St. Mary’s Anglican Church Hall.

The family requests that instead of flowers, donations be made to the Ponoka Wheelchair Van Society, FCSS Ponoka, the Ponoka United Church, or any local food bank.
