Margaretha Adair (Reimer)

Margaretha Adair (Reimer) was born in Los Jagüeyes, Chihuahua, Mexico, to Henry and Helena Reimer on July 17, 1973.
She went to school in a private Mennonite school in Los Jagüeyes, before moving with her family to Neustädt, Mexico in 1987, where she spent her teenage years. Margaretha gave her life to the Lord in her early years, followed by baptism. In 1995, she and her family immigrated to Alberta, where they found work on a dairy farm near Millet. She met the love of her life, Trevor, and was married on May 12, 2012. Throughout her life, Margaretha had various places of employment but was grateful for her last job at Nutters, where she remained employed until her illness no longer allowed her to work.
Margaretha was a very loving, caring and thoughtful individual. Although she did not have children of her own, she showed her love to other children. She enjoyed sewing, knitting, crocheting, needle point, crafting and so much more. She also had a special love for Holstein cows and dolls which she had a very special collection of.
She passed away peacefully with her husband at her side on June 19, 2026, in Leduc, Alberta, after battling pancreatic cancer.
She leaves behind her husband of 14 years, Trevor Adair; mother, Helena Reimer; sister, Mariana (Roger) Kakoschke, and their daughter Yolanda; brothers, Allen (Carmen) and John (Lorraine), along with their children Kenzie, Brent, and Derek. She also leaves behind her father-in-law, Bill (Joyce); sisters-in-law, Wendy (Jimmy); Sheila; Christine (Tyron) along with nieces and nephews; as well as many extended family members and dear friends.
She was predeceased by her father, Henry Reimer, in May 2022, and her brother, Klaas Reimer, in January 2019. She was also predeceased by her grandparents on both sides, as well as several uncles, aunts and cousins.
A visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 24, 2026 at Baker Funeral Chapel. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 25, 2026 at Peace Lutheran Church, Leduc. Private interment services will take place.
