Mabel Elsie (Minchau) Henke

Mabel (Minchau) Henke was born January 1, 1922, in Bruce, Alberta.  Mabel married Paul Henke on December 15th, 1944 and they had three children together Edgar, Marion, and Vance. She is survived by Edgar and Vance (Doris); grandchildren Nina, Dawn and Melissa; eight great-grandchildren; sisters, Violet, Evelyn, and Marlene; brother Ed and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Mabel was predeceased by her parents John and Elsie; husband Paul; brother Rueben; sister Alice; and daughter Marion.

A Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, May 22nd at Zion Lutheran Church in Wetaskiwin at 2:00 p.m.

Viewing will be open to the public at 1:00 p.m. Interment will take place at the Wetaskiwin Memorial Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to Zion Lutheran Church, LWML–Canada or a charity of one’s choice.
