Luella Doreen (Albers) Krefting

Luella Krefting passed away peacefully on June 17, 2019 at the Ponoka Hospital and Care Centre.

Luella will be lovingly remembered by her family: son George (Judy) Krefting; daughter Joanne Palechek (Mike Lauer); grandchildren Jason (Jessie) Krefting, Kevin (Teressa) Krefting, Crystal Krefting (Marti Dockendorff), Stephanie (Derick) Jaffray, and Jennifer (Blair) Bartley; great-grandchildren Reese, Oliver, and Cameron Krefting, Ethan, Hayden, and Anna Krefting, Violet and Talia Krefting, and Kailyn and Amber Bartley; sisters Helen Kikel and Selma Sand; as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Luella was predeceased by her parents George and Elizabeth Albers; three brothers and seven sisters; her husband Thor Krefting (1999); and son-in-law Garry Palechek (2015).

A Memorial Gathering will be held on Saturday, August 24, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Ponoka Funeral Home. A luncheon will follow at St. Mary's Anglican Church.
